Global food shortages are becoming a new reality for many countries around the world. But thanks to a well-balanced policy, Belarus has been able to fully ensure its food security. We are ready to help those interested as well: to share both experience and technology.
The large-scale exhibition Belagro is a vivid example of this. Agribusiness showed the best samples of machinery, processing equipment, and, of course, food. Five days of constant movement of delegations, as well as negotiations, testing, seminars and the first agreements on cooperation and supplies of our goods. So far, the exact amounts of contracts are only being counted.
As regards the number of participants, the exhibition has surpassed both our expectations and last year's record. This year, 425 participants were represented at the exhibition. Therefore, we have positive emotions from this large-scale event in our country. There were a great number of foreign delegations, including delegations from the Russian Federation. More than thirty five leaders of different levels (including governors, chairmen of governments, minister of agriculture) from Russian regions came to this exhibition. 16 Russian regions were represented with stands including Sakhalin Region, Khabarovsk Krai, Primorye, Altai, and a number of other remote regions of the Russian Federation. And today there is equipment from Poland, China, Germany and a number of other countries. There is no empty space. If you compare it with the previous year, the exhibition has expanded quite nicely in its scope.
BNBC expected to reach its full capacity in second half of 2022
