Humanitarian aid delivered to Ukraine

By Vladimir Korolev: The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry thanked Belarus for its humanitarian assistance. On behalf of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denis Kobzev expressed his gratitude to the Belarusian side. This morning, Belarus’ humanitarian truck was delivered to Kiev. Part of the humanitarian aid was shipped to the warehouses of the Red Cross mission in Kiev. The rest of it will be sent to the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Part of the 80-ton cargo is food products – canned meat, butter, cereals, sugar, baker's yeast, and pasta. At the warehouses of the Red Cross mission, food sets will be formed for almost 2,500 people. They will be then delivered and distributed to people.

The cargo that will be delivered to the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions also contains sets of furniture and about 90 refrigerators. The cargo is expected to arrive at its destination on Thursday.

Tomorrow, the convoy will continue its journey, and the Belarusian humanitarian aid will arrive in Kharkov. Over a day, the cars of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will cover a distance of almost 500 km. In Kharkov, the cargo will be divided and will proceed to the cities of Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
