On the eve the cargo from Belarus was delivered to Mozambique. The humanitarian aid included the items and products needed for the cyclone-affected regions: canned meat, school supplies, clothing, shoes and much more. Prior to this, 46 tons of cargo was transferred to Zimbabwe. The President of this country personally expressed gratitude for the help. The transfer of cargo coincided with the national holiday of this African Republic.

Alexander Sidoruk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Africa and concurrently in Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia:

"Due to the fact that in the affected areas, especially Zimbabwe, there are many large families with a large number of children, the cargo mainly contained baby food, children's things. Due to the fact that schools were destroyed in the affected areas, we set up stationery, school supplies - uniform, notebooks."
