Grodno receives status of youth capital of Belarus 2021

Today Grodno received the status of the youth capital of Belarus in 2021.

More than 300 young people from all over the country: representatives of students, youth parliaments, public associations, gathered for the solemn ceremony in the Regional Philharmonia. The guests were introduced to the possibilities of the region.  The large-scale forum became a platform for dialogue, discussions of concerns and plans for the future. The issues of student and academic self-government, the volunteer movement are highlighted.

Igor Karpenko, Minister of Education of Belarus: "Grodno has a fairly serious potential, both educational, social and cultural. And the youth policy is also being implemented here. Various seminars, meetings, competitions will be held."

Within the framework of the celebrations, the republican forum “Belarus. Youth.  Unity" was held. The winners of the Republican Universiade-2020 were awarded. Tomorrow the guests of the holiday will take part in the opening of a new kindergarten in the residential area of   Grandichi.
