The achieved level of social guarantees for employees will be maintained. This is enshrined in a tripartite agreement between government, trade union associations and employers. The document was signed today. It will be in effect for the next three years. The agreement prescribes the obligations of all parties to achieve specific indicators of economic development, as well as guarantees for workers on the most sensitive issues. The focus is on the level of salaries, pensions and benefits, employment, maintaining the affordability of services and goods.
The economy is under additional pressure today: the pandemic and sanctions. This should not affect the level of employees’ protection, the work of Federation of Trade Unions. Such a position is shared by both the government and the employers.
