The Belarusian trade unions have adopted a statement in support of peace in Belarus. Its main message is to prevent interested forces from destroying the country's businesses and undermining the economy. The trade unions, whose task was and still is to protect workers, called not to go along with it!
This statement - among a whole range of issues related to the protection of workers - was actively discussed the day before in Logoisk by the youth activists of branch trade unions. The focus was on the social and economic protection of people at work and compliance with labour legislation. Young people have a lot of constructive suggestions and their own vision. Commenting on the adopted statement, Chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Trade Unions Mikhail Orda said: "Together we must defend our common achievements".
Belarusians are not indifferent to what will happen to the country. People are actively expressing their civic position. The society has become more proactive. And this is noticeable even by the number of proposals that are gathered at dialogue platforms. A constructive society conducts a dialogue on the development of the Belarusian state in a variety of formats.
