A forum of patriotic forces will take place in Minsk on August 9. Open and frank dialogue of social activists will symbolically take place at Kupala Theater. In 2020, they tried to turn it into one of the hotbeds of rebellion. Today, it serves as a center for the development of Belarusian culture and consolidation of society. The participants will analyze what lessons have been learned and what lessons are yet to be learned from the attempted coup in 2020. Heads of public associations and political parties of the country will be speakers at the forum.
Oleg Romanov, Chairman of the "Belaya Rus" public association:
Today we understand that we must not be divided, despite the fact that we have different tasks. We have public associations and political parties. We have to unite. All leaders of public associations and political parties, who take part in the Forum, will sign it. The declaration will contain ideas that civil society in Belarus is aimed at unity and fruitful interaction.
About 15 associations and political parties of our country will take part in the forum.
