Ivan Eismont on human rights in Europe: Moroccan refugees in Spain simply beaten with sticks

In Europe, Belarus is blamed for the lack of respect for human rights, while in Spain Moroccan refugees are simply beaten with sticks. The Chairman of Belteleradiocompany Ivan Eismont told about this in the program "Editors' Club" on TV channel "Belarus 1".

"We are reproached in the West for not respecting human rights. Moreover, we repress people, while our law enforcement officers are very tough. While in 2020, people came out with slogans to change the government in Belarus. It is considered that any person may go out in the street and express his indignation at the actions of the government, and he does not have to answer for it. However, if we could tell such fairy tales 30 years ago, today every passerby is a reporter. This is why we have dozens, hundreds, and thousands of facts at our disposal about the brutal treatment of citizens by police in Western countries. And in the West, people come out with some harmless stuff. Coronavirus restrictions are not a topic where you can beat people up," said Ivan Eismont.
