The Belarusian anthem sounded again at the Eurasian Equestrian Games. The national dressage school returns home with a lot of medals: 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. On the final day of the competition, our riders performed in one of the most beautiful dressage disciplines: the free program. To the music, which is selected specifically for the spirit of the horse, they literally danced different compositions. They circled in a waltz, jumped to rock and smoothly changed legs to jazz. Grace and exact hitting the rhythm brought gold and silver medals to our riders.
Sergey Buikevich, General Secretary of the Eurasian Equestrian Association:
“Today the Belarusian riders have won, and we are really happy that it took place. Belarus has kept the school, kept the system, probably thanks to Ratomka, and to the state support. But I think it's also thanks to the enthusiasm and the work of a huge team of athletes. The youngsters are brilliant today, we are so excited. There are great horses, in a good standard, with a good quality not only of movement but also of work. It is very important.”
Our event riders also had good results. According to the results of three disciplines: dressage test, field test and show jumping, the Belarusians won silver in the team classification.
