The engagement of young people in public life and shaping a legal political culture from the school bench is the aim of the single parliamentary day held in schools of Minsk. The participants discussed civic-patriotic education, with special attention paid to the preservation of historical memory. The Youth Parliament also helps to promote active young people. Initiative, responsibility, an active social life and ability to work in a team are the selection criteria.
Active citizenship is more important these days than ever before. And there is a place to apply their skills for the benefit of the state. Anyone from 18 to 31 years old can become a member of the Youth Parliament.
