This year in Belarus, children will not take exams in the fifth grades of gymnasiums. They can simply continue their studies at their school. The President signed a special decree. However, when enrolling in arts gymnasiums and colleges, competitive exams will be held.
In Minsk, the lists of residential houses assigned to gymnasiums have already been determined. So, for example, only four houses are assigned to Gymnasium No.24 located in the city centre. Over 25 houses are assigned to Gymnasium No.33 in Sukharevo.
The information is available on the websites of the education administrations of the district administrations of Minsk. The websites also have the information about the days when gymnasiums will admit first graders.
