Provocations on our border are becoming more and more impudent. Here is another confirmation. A Ukrainian spy drone crossed the border of Belarus in order to take pictures of the Brest training area, where the allied exercises are held at the moment. It is established for certain that it was launched from the territory of Ukraine.  This time the Ukrainian authorities have to explain why a drone, which flew from the Ukrainian side, crossed the state border, flew more than 40 kilometers across Belarus and spied over the Armed Forces of Belarus at the Brest firing range.

The incident occurred on January 24. Just a week before, Alexander Lukashenko had approved the plan to test the Union State's response forces in the territory of our country.  On the next day, the Russian military and equipment started arriving in western and southwestern Belarus. Everything is in accordance with the approved plan. Therefore, such an arrival on our territory does not look accidental. In fact, this is what experts confirm after examining the drone.

The expertise of the drone established that it was programmed to operate along a certain route. The route, which was initially programmed, was saved in its memory. They restored its schedule. On January 24, it was launched in the area of Pischa village, Kovel District, Volyn Region (a couple of kilometers off the border with Belarus), and then it illegally crossed the state border of our country. The work of the apparatus in the airspace of Belarus was planned and marked, it was supposed to record a specific territory. In fact, the drone took 1 photo every 15 seconds and shot 228 photos in 50 minutes of flight. According to its task, it had to photograph every square meter of the territory.

In connection with the situation, the Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to express a strong protest with regard to the purposeful launch of an unmanned aerial vehicle from Ukraine into the territory of Belarus. A note of protest was also handed to the military attache at the embassy of Ukraine in Belarus.
