Members of the British charity organization honored the memory of Belarusians who died in the Great Patriotic War. The marathon brought together the residents of Minsk and British ambassador to Belarus. Themarathon started at the memorial complex Pit and ended at Trostenets. Here the participants laid flowers to the victims of death camps.
Debra Brunner, founder and director of the British charity organization Plan Together: "We went through the same marathon in London a week ago. It was windy and cold, and now the weather is very hot. But I think it's good. So we can better deliver our promise that is very important to remember the plight of the world in times of war."
This marathon memory traditsyyna held only in London. Minsk became the first town abroad, where British activists reiterated their memorial procession.
