On January 15, 1938, after the administrative reform, Mogilev, Vitebsk, Gomel and Minsk regions were formed. The large-scale events are held today in the center of the country. Minsk Region is the largest region of the country, which produces a quarter of all agricultural products, and BelAZ trucks, potash fertilizers and weaves the famous Slutsk belts!
Hundreds and thousands of houses, kindergartens and schools, hospitals, farms of enterprises - all and not count built during this time in the central region. Today Minsk Region is without exaggeration the leading region in the country.
For outstanding services, the title of "honorary citizen" of the Minsk Region was received by six people at once. Certificates of honor and gratitude to the leadership of the Central region, and the government of Belarus were presented to doctors, teachers, farmers, factory managers.
