Today Belarus will join the International ecological action Earth Hour. From 20:30 to 21:30, the light will be turned off on the avenues and in public buildings of our cities, and we hope, in your homes.
Earth Hour can help save the environment by traveling on foot. 25,000 kilometers in 900 days. The family of Alexander Zhukov, from Vitebsk Region will go round the world, visit 28 countries, five continents during almost three years of travel. The travelers plan to cover about 30 kilometers a day on foot. On their website the family will display online travel diary. The project called Running Beetles starts from Tokyo and will end in Istanbul in September 2018.
