Future dentists from Belarus, Norway, Moldova and Armenia to be trained under common program

30 сентября 2019

The future dentists from Belarus, Norway, Moldova and Armenia can begin studying under the common program, that was discussed today at the medical university during the international dental conference. New curriculum will be implemented in all universities, that participate in the international project. The program is primarily aimed at reducing oral cancer. The experience exchange between universities has been established for that. Belarusian students and teachers successfully completed the internship at the Norwegian university. And our country has accepted the foreign experts.

Daniela Costea, the International Project Coordinator: “Now the most important thing is to achieve mutual understanding and the common result between the dental practitioners and researchers in the field of pathology and prepare new approaches for identifying diseases in the early stages. For example, dentists were only involved in dental treatment before, and our task is to teach them, how to diagnose various pathological conditions and quickly eliminate them."

By the way, the electronic training platform for dental students is already being developed. The participants in this project from different countries will be able to study the pathology of the oral mucosa online.
