Hospitals return to normal regime

Duty in the infectious diseases ward in the outpatient clinic, night shifts in the red zone of the hospital are over. Anastasia Baykacheva, an intern, tried a variety of professional roles. Despite all the difficulties, according to the young specialist, such challenges only strengthened her passion for medicine.

More than 150 specialists worked with infectious diseases in the Stolbtsy Hospital for 3 months. 

Olga Verevko, Head of the Department, General practitioner of Stolbtsy Hospital: "It becomes easier to communicate with patients. There have been mainly COVID and pneumonia patients since the beginning of April, now both cardiological and therapeutic profiles are actively working."

Stolbtsy Hospital was the first in the region to return to the normal mode. Neurological, children's, and palliative care departments have regained their profile. A full sanitary treatment has been carried out.

Svetlana Glebko, Chief Doctor of Stolbtsy Central District Hospital: "We repaired the physiotherapy and rehabilitation department, considering the importance of rehabilitation after being ill. New equipment has been purchased."

Other clinics in Minsk Region are starting to work as usual. Some departments of  Soligorsk, Dzerzhinsk, Zhodino Nesvitski and hospitals started to receive the patients.
