26 kilograms of drugs and psychotropic substances for $ 1 million seized in Minsk

The Investigation Committee of Minsk published the details of the criminal case on the drug syndicate. Two 17-year-old students were detained by operatives, but they had managed to spread over 50 marijuana and mephedrone doses in the city park by that time. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs back at the end of February. Then the law enforcement officers were able to find a distributor of illegal substances in the online store, where these students worked. He turned out to be a 31-year-old resident of Minsk, in whose car, as well as at his place of residence dangerous psychotropic substances were found and seized.

7 more persons involved in the crime were detained in the course of further investigative actions and operational search measures. The IC added that 3 of them had previously been convicted of drug abuse. 4 out of 7 detainees are women. Criminal cases have been initiated against the suspects.
