UNICEF and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus are intensifying efforts to protect children on the Internet. They are increasingly faced with adult materials, virus attacks and password thefts.

Most users of social networks in the public domain indicate their age, interests, and personal phone number. Experts strongly recommend not uploading this data. Rules for safe behavior in the NET can be found on the new information resource.

Dmitry Shilin, Senior Coordinator for the Protection of Childhood at the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) Office in Belarus: “Kids.help.by the website was launched in November. This is a specialized resource that was created in close collaboration with Belarus’ Ministry for Internal Affairs. Depending on the age of the child, you can get information about the threats that await the child on the Internet and expert advice."

Much attention is paid to the participation of children themselves in creating a secure Internet space.
