The residents of the Belarusian regions are actively involved in the discussion of the bill "On the amendment of the Electoral Code" and “On the All-Belarus People’s Assembly”. This is the highest representative body, which should unite representatives of all spheres and all branches of power for the purpose to determine the strategic directions of development of the state and society. The dialogue platforms were set up in the labor collectives. People are actively interested in the role of the All-Belarus People’s Assembly, as well as the criteria for delegates. There are indeed a lot of questions, because the All-Belarus People’s Assembly will face solving important challenges, one of which is the consolidation of society.
Tatiana Avtukhova, the deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
Citizens are admired by the fact that they are involved in the discussion. And this ownership increases their activity. There are many questions, such as which civil society representatives have an opportunity to become a delegate to the All-Belarus People’s Assembly.
Public discussion is an established practice for our country. It will last until November 2. Belarusians have the opportunity to hear truthful information first hand, as well as to express their position and make proposals for the development of their homeland.
