For many years, the Soviet soldiers showed a true example of loyalty and service to their homeland whilst serving in Afghanistan. And for a quarter of a century now, the Belarusian Union of Afghan War Veterans remembers the pain and grief of those who lost they loved ones in this war.
The President of Belarus congratulated the Union on its anniversary and noted that it has deserved a lot of respect in society and it is continuing to contribute to maintaining the unity and harmony in society and the upbringing of the younger generation.
