Belarus building peaceful and good-neighborly relations with all countries, including distant arc

Belarus extends helping hand to those, who need it. Tomorrow the Belarusian ship with humanitarian cargo will go to South-East Africa. Aid will be delivered to victims of the tropical cyclone in Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Canned meat, sugar, soap, flour, baby food, clothes, shoes, will be included in the humanitarian aid.

Tropical cyclone Idai became the cause of flooding in south-eastern Africa. The number of victims of the disaster has exceeded one thousand people, hundreds are missing. The strongest storm caused catastrophic damage to Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. The port city of Beira in Mozambique is destroyed by 90%. Massive flooding in the region caused a humanitarian catastrophe. Flooding also caused a cholera outbreak.

The route of the humanitarian mission is as follows: Minsk - Harare - Maputo - Minsk. 15 thousand kilometers 4 days and 92 tons of such necessary food for the affected region of Africa.
