The medical workers in Belarus will have their salaries raised by setting additional incentive payments. The corresponding order of President Alexander Lukashenko to the Council of Ministers is fixed in the decree № 206 of June 21, 2022, BelTA informs with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
To implement the decision of the President, a draft decree of the Ministry of Health was adopted, which provides for introduction of a new additional payment for health care to all categories of health workers from July 1, 2022. The allowance will be differentiated depending on complexity and intensity of work.
The highest amount will be received by doctors and nurses of the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation, district service, emergency departments of hospitals, emergency medical services, wards for patients with strokes.
The decree also establishes that in connection with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation on COVID-19 infection in the country, the transition to the normal mode of operation of health care institutions, the Covid allowances for medical workers are canceled.
