Belarusian transplantologists give master class on minimally invasive renal transplantation for Ukrainian surgeons

The patient is 53 years old. Three surgeons worked for more than six hours. The donor organ recovery was executed by the Chief of Department of the National Scientific Practical Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation of Belarus Yury Slobodin. 8 more surgeons from Kiev, Zaporozhe, Odessa and Donetsk watched actions of the Belarusian doctors. Last year at the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Hospital only seven renal transplantation operations were executed whilst about 23 such operations are executed monthly at the National Scientific Practical Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation of Belarus.
