RANABEL seminar begins at CIS Executive Committee in Minsk

Its delegates will explore the most common attempts to illegally cross the borders. An analytical report will be published on the basis of their research.


Oleg Masharov, Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Border Committee of Belarus: The project was launched on October 10 and has to be implemented within 18 months. During this time, we will hold a series of training events and assist the State Border Committee Belarus and territorial authorities in developing state border infrastructure and supplying equipment for state border risk analysis.


The forum has brought together attended delegates from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. The total budget allocated for the project in Belarus makes up 200 thousand dollars.
