Belarusian Memorial Chapel in London recognized as best religious building in world

This was announced at the International Architecture Festival in Amsterdam. Among the competitors were temples in India, Turkey, Thailand, Portugal, Iran, Australia and Singapore. Today author of the project Tszwai So will be awarded. The British architect of Chinese origin has repeatedly visited our country to study the Belarusian architectural school. The master admires the old wooden religious buildings, so this material was taken as the basis for the construction of the church for our diaspora in the UK. Today it is the only wooden chapel in London and has received many architectural awards.

Church of St Cyril of Turau and All the Patron Saints of the Belarusian People is fighting for the title of the best wooden building in the world and the main award of the International Architectural Festival.
