By Yakov Buta: The first Boeing-737-500 appeared in the Belavia fleet back in 2003, which was a breakthrough in the Belarusian civil aviation. Currently the airline company accounts for fifteen American aircrafts.
Under the contract, the new aircrafts are to arrive in Minsk in three years to become the largest liners in the Belavia fleet. This will help reduce the cost of tickets for passengers and open new destinations such as Tenerife, Dubai and Morocco.
