Belarus simplifies procedure for state registration of traditional Chinese medicine preparations

On June 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree №161, aimed at the development of innovative and traditional medicine, implementation of projects in pharmaceuticals, production of medical products and equipment in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone. This was reported by BelTA referring to the press service of the head of state.

The document establishes a simplified procedure for state registration of food supplements produced and registered in China for circulation in Belarus. This innovation is aimed at popularizing preparations of traditional Chinese medicine and making them available to the Belarusian citizens.

The terms of rendering medical services in the territory of the Great Stone Industrial Park with the use of medicines, medical products, treatment methods registered in China and a number of other countries with a developed regulatory system in the field of medicine and pharmaceutics are simplified.

Medical services provided by the residents of the industrial park with the application of the provisions of the decree are included in the objects of voluntary medical insurance.
