Police Day marked in Belarus

The history of Belarusian police dates back to 97 years ago, when Mikhail Frunze was appointed Minsk police chief by order of the city commandant. Today, Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Igor Shunevich will traditionally meet with the families of the fallen police officers, which will be followed by the laying of wreaths at the monument to the killed in the line of duty, a solemn meeting and a concert.
