Belarus to ask Russia to set up training center to operationalize Iskanders

The Presidents of Belarus and Russia will discuss further operations of the joint grouping of troops tomorrow in Moscow. The agenda of the forthcoming talks was disclosed by Alexander Lukashenko today, while talking to journalists at the Osipovichi training ground, where the exercise "Allied Resolve" is taking place. Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are expected to jointly inspect the exercise during his upcoming visit to Russia. 

Today, the President of Belarus also inspected the maneuvers near Osipovichi (one of the main locations of the exercise in Belarus). The Union State's missile troops and artillery, aviation, and the airborne troops of Russia took part in the tactical exercise there. The President was informed about the formation of a joint group of missile forces. It included multiple launch rocket systems Polonez and Russian Iskander complexes. The missiles were launched electronically at the training range. The systems proved excellent. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus will ask Russia to set up a training center to operationalize the Iskanders.
