The stela "Minsk - Hero City" gathered members of trade unions, city authorities, labor collectives. They laid flowers to the monument.

Mikhail Orda, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus:

"Today we can say that through the efforts of the Federation of Trade Unions, we were able to return the unlawfully withheld and unpaid money to people in the amount of three million two hundred thousand rubles, we stood up for protection and reinstated to work illegally dismissed people (this is 86 people), we participated in the investigation in order to protect the rights of union members."

Irina Kostevich, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus:

"Work is a great value, and decent work is the right of every person, and, above all, of course, we need to provide jobs in the labor market with a decent level of wages and with decent working conditions. We understand that we still have to work hard to make a decent level of wages, with an appropriate level of labor productivity and, of course, conditions."
