Belarus is ready to share its experience in combating coronavirus in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Prime Minister of Belarus said at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization in the format of a video conference. According to Roman Golovchenko, the pandemic has exposed many problems in the political, socio-economic and humanitarian spheres. Food security is an acute issue, and Belarus is ready to actively participate in solving this problem and contribute to the development of the program.
Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of Belarus: "In the fight against the virus, no country in the world, in our opinion, was able to demonstrate its full readiness for a new challenge. At the same time, individual countries and international financial organizations actively politicized coronavirus, using its proliferation for immediate benefits and linking aid with the fulfillment of political conditions. In the fight against the pandemic, Belarus went its own way. As time has shown, our choice has shown its effectiveness."
