The new law "On licensing", which will come into force next year, introduced significant changes in the implementation of pharmaceutical activities, reports Sputnik.
Pharmacies will soon be able to sell drugs remotely through their online sites. Such changes are provided by a new law "On licensing", which enters into force on January 1, 2023.
However, there are nuances to such online sales: at the moment, only non-prescription drugs can be bought online.
"So far it concerns only non-prescription drugs, but in the future, after the introduction of e-health, the sales of prescription drugs will be considered," said Irina Kireeva, the head of the main department for the control of medical activity and circulation of medicines of the Ministry of Health.
On October 17, Alexander Lukashenko signed the law "On Licensing", which concerns and regulates the whole sphere. It defines the kinds of activities to be licensed, the requirements for those who are going to receive a license and the procedure for obtaining one.
The law, among other things, introduces licensing of private and public schools and kindergartens. The press service of the Belarusian President noted that the licensing of these activities will guarantee the legality and quality of educational services, will evaluate the organization of the process and prevent those who pursue "purely commercial purposes to the detriment of the state and the individual" from entering the sphere of education.
