The isolation of Belarus will be prohibitively expensive for the airlines. This is the opinion of the analysts of the New York Times. The airlines are already forced to avoid airspace in Ukraine, because of the hostilities in the south of the country. The cancellation of routes through Belarus is creating new difficulties for many flights. Experts say the rerouting would require adding at least half an hour of flight time to each flight. And it is, of course, additional costs for aviation fuel, which will affect the price of tickets for passengers. By the way, last week, about 3.5 thousand planes flew over Belarus. About a fifth of them landed in the country.
