Now every Belarusian can enter the IT business without experience and special skills can. Digital Factory is open for vulnerable categories of citizens, those who are retired, on a maternity leave or have disabilities. Apart from the social function, the startup also has an educational one, revealing the intellectual and scientific potential of Belarusians in terms of information technology.
Digital Factory is an international platform where tasks are set by IT companies from all over the world. The project is seen as a social project, which will help those in need earn money. At the same time there is no need for experience.
Sabina Kerimova, IT project manager:
“If we are talking about the IT sphere in Belarus, we are the first company that pays people in cryptocurrency. Payment in the form of crypto coins is automatically deposited into an e-wallet for the correctly completed tasks. In most cases, we deal with adults who are skeptical that you can make money just by clicking on pictures on the Internet.”
An international startup in Belarus has already united over a hundred people. At this rate, they say, it will reach more than 300 by the end of the year. So far, the tasks are simple, but more complicated ones, where you can earn good money, will appear soon. Remuneration in the form of tokens can be converted into Belarusian rubles or other currency at one of the crypto-exchangers registered in Belarus.
In the current geopolitical situation, it is hard to imagine an American promoting an idea in Belarus. Zev Zukerman lived in Belarus for a long time. Having studied the employment market, he realized what was really missing.
Zev Zukerman, ambassador of the IT-project in Belarus:
“It's very important for me that the Belarusians don't miss this opportunity. Belarus was the first country in the world to pass legislation in 2017 on cryptocurrencies. This development has begun and should continue somehow. I'm very proud to be able to promote this and help people have a better life.”
