It is absolutely obvious that several actors are interested in destabilizing the situation in Kazakhstan. First of all, this is the United States and Great Britain. It serves their interests to disunite the countries of the post-Soviet space. After all, together we are a force. Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia are now in the zone of risk. Therefore, strengthening the role of the CSTO and other integration associations will only bring us together and prevent our western counterparts from repeating such provocations in the future.
Alexei Mukhin, director general of the Political Information Center, expressed this opinion to our TV channel. According to Mukhin, we are dealing with a powerful and very insidious enemy, a wolf in sheep's clothing. And we understand the danger of acting in isolation. Unfortunately, it works like a red flag to the bull. When a country isolates itself, it becomes an easy prey. And at this stage, the post-soviet space should understand this and rationally introduce integration measures in order to avoid such situations in the future. Integration processes have been going on in the post-soviet territory for a long time. This includes the creation of the EAEU, the Customs Union and the CSTO. All these integration projects are highly criticized in the West, and they are trying to divide us. Will we lack the intelligence to do the opposite? To do the opposite of what our enemies want. Mukhin thinks that our opponents, by trying to divide us, are actually stimulating the opposite process. The introduction of even a symbolic number of CSTO troops, and not on behalf of Russia alone, but on behalf of all CSTO member countries, is certainly the right act, which further creates a certain model of security in the post-Soviet space.
Mukhin: Disuniting former Soviet republics meets the interests of the U.S. and UK as together we are too strong
