Alexander Tarasenko, Deputy Minister of Health, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Belarus: "We are probably approaching a plateau now. The incidence rate does not have the same rate as 2 weeks ago. I hope that by the end of December we will reach a plateau on which we will stay for a month or two, then there will be a gradual decline."
Sergey Belyaev, General Director of RUE Belmedpreparaty: "At the first stage we will purchase a vaccine, at the second stage we will be engaged in the production of a vaccine having implemented the experience of a country, such as the Russian Federation, and at the third stage we will develop our vaccine. One needs to understand that this is a complex process, but not an impossible one."
Nevertheless, hospitals have everything needed to treat patients. They are fully equipped and resuscitated with sufficient equipment for artificial lung ventilation. By the way, more than half of the ventilators is not used.
