World gourmets yield to Minsk cooks

The culinary professionals from Minsk took part in international cuisine contest in Luxembourg. Maksim Sudnik is not just making dishes, but leads them as the conductor leads the orchestra.

Maksim Sudnik, chief cook at a Minsk restaurant: The meal that I presented at the show was called the Belarusian Miracle.
His meals became a surprise for those Europeans, who know the Belarusian cuisine only by potato flapjacks. His approach even to potato is extremely original and tasty.

Andrey Sinyak, director of a food service at a hotel: When we came out second out of 82 nations, we realized that we are not lagging behind the leading cuisines.
Maksim will take part in the national competitions as well.
