Customs clearance of goods imported to Customs Union to get faster

Prior to October 1, 2014 Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan intend to introduce mandatory preliminary provision of information about goods imported to the three countries. This was announced today at the meeting of the Committee on Customs Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
By Alexei Kondratenko: Minsk and the Minsk region are the main transport and logistics centers of Belarus. Every day thousands of tons of cargo are brought to the country; transit flows are increasing. Systems of document preparation for vehicles have already been simplified. Trucks go through the customs quicker. The procedure for trains and planes are now under consideration.
Prior to October 1, 2014 Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan intend to introduce mandatory preliminary provision of information about goods imported to the three countries. Another important point is minimizing the risks associated with goods transportation. Clearance of goods delivered by planes will be accelerated by 2015 at earliest.
