14 сентября 2017

An exhibition featuring 110 works by Napoleon Orda opened at the National Art Museum in Minsk. The watercolours portray a vast number of sights of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from Bialystok to Mogilev and Gomel. The paintings were made in the 1860s, and many of them have not been preserved. Orda’s paintings are frequently used to restore monuments of architecture.

Especially for Napoleon Orda’s exhibition, they changed the colour of the walls of the museum hall at the Art Museum. The exposition is dedicated to the 210th birthday anniversary of the artist.
