By Nina Mozheiko: Vladimir Tsesler is a well-known artist, designer, and art provocateur from Belarus. He portrayed Belarus in the shape of a dranik, he portrayed the Belarusian ornament as the print of a tire, and he painted Raubichi the color of jeans.
For the first time in a long time, Vladimir Tsesler presented a solo exhibition. The venue was the Minsk Gallery DK.
His work is inextricably linked with various brands. He cleverly juggles with concepts and formulations. But commercial success for him is a form of self-expression. He likes art, because it is designed for a social reaction.
Vladimir Tsesler, an artist and designer: "I believe all that I have now in me came to me with music. And I still live with this music – hard rock, and a little metal. I do not call for anything, I state what I see, everything that I feel, and probably that is why my language is so clear, and I consciously took such a decision – I want to create things that everyone can create."
The portfolio of the designer also includes the logo of Belteleradiocompany – the famous abbreviation BT. Large companies, shopping centres, festivals, and competitions become famous thanks to his work. Some of Vladimir Tsesler’s posters and art objects are exhibited in Paris.
Vladimir Tsesler’s art is all about the easiness of perception and unpretentiousness of embodiment. For Tsesler, all the genuis things are unbelievably simple.
