Today is the International Day for Monuments and Sites. Historians of the city Bereza have decided to present the history of an ancient monastery of the 17th century to a wide audience and developed a virtual tour.
The virtual museum is being developed now. The six rooms will present the city's history in the Middle Ages, a detailed scheme of the monastery buildings, monastic cells.
All the exhibits are real. The household items were found during excavations. Special pride of the collection is an altar sculpture of an apostle, which is 300 years old. The monastery possessed a rich library.
It took about a year to realize the project. In a few months, Internet users will be able to stroll through the virtual halls of the Carthusian monastery.
