Exhibition of Belarusian icons opens in Vatican

An exhibition of Belarusian icons opened in Vatican, in the proximity to the famous Sistine Chapel. President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the organizers and participants of the event. The oldest images date back to the 17th century. The exhibition includes 31 icons Belarusian icons were exhibited in many cities around the world. The President of Belarus will visit Italy and Vatican City on May 20-21. It is expected that Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with the President of Italy, during which the sides will discuss relations between the two countries, with a focus on trade and economic and investment cooperation.
