This week brought a major victory for a young vocalist from Belarus. The most exciting musical event of recent days was the National selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 that will be held on 26 November in Tbilisi, Georgia.
It took a full week to prepare everything for the spectacular TV show that lasted about a couple of hours. All the efforts paid off, though. A colorful TV contest wowed the audience with a modern stage tailored to the latest trends. In fact, everything was so technological in Belteleradiocompany’s 600 Metres Studio that even the symbol of the Junior Eurovision fit easily into the interior – the finalists performed under the light of a chandelier made of LED screens which represented the sun.
The jury and TV audience voted 50/50 for the representative of Belarus at the prestigious song forum. Helena Meraai will represent Belarus in Georgia with the song I Am The One.
Today, Helena and her voice teacher Olga Drozdova are in the studio of "The Main Air" (video).
