The festival of spiritual music Magutny Bozha gathered more than 1,000 participants from 18 countries, including the United States, Georgia, Britain, and Nigeria. The main idea of the festival is to unite the three branches of Christianity - the Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Christians - with the help of music. The programme includes competitive auditions and book exhibitions. A joint concert of the Riga Choir, the Mogilev Chapel choir and Moscow soloists opened the festival.
The musicians will perform not only in temples, but also in the streets. There will be a bell ringing holiday. A special guest of the festival is the Pyatnitsky Russian Folk Chorus.
