One of Listapad Film Festival venues – the Mir cinema – has been screening main and national competition films throughout the day, Belarusian filmmakers being among 24 contestants. Director Tamuna Karumidze presented the documentary When the Earth Seems To Be Light, recognised as the best Georgian film of the season and the best debut at the Amsterdam Film Festival.
The Bulgarian-Greek drama Glory is the likely winner of the Audience Award and Listapad Bronze with an average score of 3.5 out of the possible 4 points. The main results will be summed up on Friday.
The closing ceremony of the 23rd Minsk International Film Festival Listapad is scheduled to take place in the Moskva cinema.
