The 2nd European Documentary Festival EURASIA.DOC opened in Minsk. An international jury of professionals selected 15 contest tapes.
Throughout the week, pictures in the genre of political documentary will be shown in movie theaters of Minsk and Smolensk. Also, viewers and participants of the festival will enjoy master classes, round tables, and meetings with the authors of projects.
This year, the festival has brought together a number of countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Belarus is represented by Belteleradiocompany’s TV News Agency. Our colleagues will demonstrate two social projects within the competitive program and one more film outside the competition.
Among the innovations at the festival is the fact that this year it became a youth contest. Contestants aged 18 to 30 presented their 4-minute documentaries on various social matters. The jury then chose only 8 films. They will be presented in Minsk.
