Violin by Antonio Stradivari arrives in Minsk

A real musical rarity has arrived in the Belarusian capital today. The violin by Antonio Stradivari produced in 1709 is presented in Minsk by the Austrian National Bank. Renowned German violinist and conductor Rainer Honeck will play the famous violin.

A large-scale musical project is being prepared as part of the Austrian cultural season in the Palace of the Republic. It is a joint concert of soloists of the Vienna State Opera and the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus with a guest from Germany as a soloist. The concert will take place on November, 10. The musicians met with Belarusian journalists and spoke about the program, a unique instrument and the Belarusian-Austrian cultural partnership.

The Austrian cultural season in Minsk includes several musical evenings and literary meetings.
