Opening ceremony of Junior Eurovision held in Katowice

The representative of Belarus Liza Misnikova walked along the red carpet and met for the first time with participants from 18 countries. Also the artist had time to take part in video shootings and to communicate with the press. Misnikova gave an interview to Polish television in the VIP hall of Krakow airport, one of the points on her route to Junior Eurovision. The contest is hosted not by the capital, but by the Silesian Voivodship. Poland is planning to attract tourists to this region by means of a rating show. 

Junior Eurovision was unveiled in the Silesian Theater. 

All participating countries appeared on the red carpet in alphabetical order. Competitors welcome the presenter and answer a few questions in English for an international audience.

The intriguing moment of the ceremony is the draw. Only the first and last number of speeches and the position of the host country are randomly determined.

Tomorrow Elisabeth will sing her Ashen hit on the contest stage for the first time, a rehearsal in the neighboring town of Gliwice is in the schedule of the Belarusian delegation.
