The National History Museum has hosted a presentation of a restored element of the ancient liturgical vestment worn by a Catholic priest. The exhibit consisting of several fabric strips resembling Slutsk belts replenished the Museum’s collection ten years ago in a poor condition. The chasuble was purchased half a century ago in Ruzhany by a private individual. Its restoration took place a year ago due to the President’s grant.

The unique item will be on display for just three days. Next time it will be exhibited in autumn as part of the project Belarus: The Revival of Spirituality.
